Waste Management Specialist at Golden Buddha Hostel & Guesthouse, Kathmandu (August 2019 – March 2020)
Plans and coordinates waste reclamation and reduction projects, such as recycling programs or garbage collection services, among other responsibilities. Identifying and estimating project scope, generating budgets, investigating contractual and budgetary requirements, and collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure that the project maintains in line with local or state waste management regulations are all part of the job.
Enumerator at Swisscontact, Kathmandu (November 2019 – December 2019)
Assess the waste composition, weight, and volume of solid waste by conducting baseline survey. Conduct key inform-ant interviews with key stakeholders to learn about current waste management procedures. Collect budget, SWM budget, service charges and their coverage in terms of locations and/or waste sources. Investigate the quantity of materials recovered from municipal solid trash through formal and informal sectors.
Host Country Venture at Raleigh International Nepal, Kathmandu (October 2016 – December 2016)
In remote locations, I collaborated with 15-25 other national and international Ventures, as well as 5-6 Project Managers. Directly plan, coordinate, and supervise daily drilling efforts, as well as managing the team's day-to-day operations and the implementation of WASH Project activities such as gravity fed water supply system building, hygiene and sanitation promotion, and safe drinking water.
